Spero di non dire una boiata ma mi sa che è una Medic pouch di qualche tipo; in fondo la ragazza è un corpsman (patch sulla spalla)... anche quel cosciale (SO tech?) penso sia di un tipo utilizzato da personale medico.

io non credo che sia una tasca medica perchè compare in diverse foto e anche su più di un soldato per squadra, se ritrovo quella foto la posto. Su circa 10 persone la portano in 3

è proprio una tasca medica, credo sia della NARP... mi ricordo che quando Pj vide la foto in cui un operatore la indossava in posa sopra uno IED ne parlammo per un po' pensando fosse una tasca EOD

il boonie..credo sia un interprete il tizio in questione,anche per via degli occhiali..
a contatto con la popolazione i marines ora sono invitati a togliersi gli occhiali da sole in segno di rispetto e soprattutto nel lungo processo "to win hearts and minds"..
la tasca medica in questione è l'evoluzione della classica (mi sfugge il nome!!) medic bag (come sopra qualcuno citava ).. contiene bendaggi,steccaggi pieghevoli,"boo-boo kit,atropine,morphine,"airborne" (l'equivalente delle nostre apirine) etc..
ne ho una dei primi anni 2000..

Oggi stavo facendo una ricerca sulle MEF/MEB/MEU per capire una cosa sull'organizzazione delle unità ed è uscita fuori una cosa che probabilmente non tutti sanno, per cui la condivido

Avete fatto caso che molte volte capita di vedere degli operatori MEU vestiti molto simili ai force recon? Vi siete mai chiesti perchè? Oggi ho capito perchè Sono degli operatori particolari facenti parte della Marines Special Pourpose Force. Cos'è quest'unità? Copio da Wikipedia:

The United States Marine Corps' Maritime Special Purpose Force, or MSPF, are a unique specialized sub-unit that are drawn from the Marine Expeditionary Units' (MEU) major subordinate elements. They are special operations capable forces deployed to give the commanders low profile, two-platoon surgical emplacement in the accessible littoral regions. The MSPF provides the enhanced operational capability and precision skills to complement, enable, and execute selected conventional, maritime special operations. They can also perform operations not resident in traditional amphibious raid companies. The MSPF provides the MEUs in rapid direct action capabilities, to augmenting or replace the unavailable Force Reconnaissance, or Force Recon, platoons. It enables the Marine Corps's only deep recon unit, Force Recon, to continue providing FMF-level reconnaissance without delay. They are also responsible for in extremis hostage rescue (IHR) in urban areas, a task removed from Force Recon.
The MSPF cannot operate independently of its parent MEU, on which it relies for logistics, intelligence, communications, transportation, and fire support. However, they are capable of conducting operations with, or in support of the operators of the United States special operations forces. The MSPF's task organization are often conformed as an addition of the Amphibious Ready Group’s Naval Special Warfare Task Unit detachment

Detto in breve e in italiano è il cuore della MEU(SOC), una sottounità con i brevetti per condurre operazioni speciali come assalti anfibi (la loro specialità a quanto pare), direct action e missioni di liberazioni ostaggi ad alto rischio (quindi probabilmente le unità MEU VBSS non sono altro che MSPF). Alcune volte è chiamata a sostituire i Force Recon quando sono impegnati altrove e da qui quell'equipaggiamento SF style.

Per cui penso che il 90% degli operatori meu vestiti da "force recon" non siano altro che MSPF in azione. Metto alcune foto beccate sul web per farvi capire la varietà di equipaggiamento che usano:
