comunque non è la prima foto in cui gli osprey si vedono rotti, che sia per l'eccessivo striciamento delle piastre dure/terra o perchè siano di cattiva fattura?
nella 3° foto dall'alto c'è un soldato con la patch rossa\blu mi sapete dire di più?
perchè nella mia dpm ce l'ho e non so da dove viene!

la trf-patch di questo tipo viene utilizzato dai regimenti di guardie, dal london regiment della riserva, dal household cavalry regiment, da un gruppo di artiglieria, in pratica viene idnetificato come hosuehold brigade trf, perche assegnato allle unita che hanno compagnie da parata che vengono utilizzate per buckingham palace e la altre residenze reali.Originariamente inviata da trave

ero convinto che fosse tfr da guardia, nel senso che me la ero fatta a piedi!
considerando il basco khaki che indossa, il soldato fa quasi sicuramente parte di un reggimento di guardie.

the foot guards are the infantry regiments of the household division of the british army. there have been six regiments of foot guards, all of which still exist apart from the machine gun guards, which was formed during the first world war and disbanded in 1920:

- scots guards
- irish guards

particolarità di questi reggimenti, i sottufficiali usano gradi di un "livello" superiore al loro grado reale.
es. un lance corporal che solitamente porta un baffo solo, nelle guardie ne ha due. un caporale ne ha invece tre (si chiama lance sergeant)

le foto, che risalgono a qualche mese fa sono del 10 battaglione coldstream guards
di qualche anno fa (2006 credo, vedi presenza a destra nella foto di un ecba)

sono tornato ieri sera da un week end in west yorkshire e a middleton (manchester)... non ho avuto tempo di fare shopping, ma mi sono beccato una banda di squaddies in borghese (ma con plce bergen) all'aeroporto di liverpool...
