lance cpl. maurice martin, an infantry man with lima company, 3rd battalion, 23rd marines, 4th marine division reloads his m203 grenade launcher during a fire team rush conducted as part of a joint u.s.-benin live fire exercise in preparation for shared accord 2009's final field training event. shared accord is a scheduled, combined u.s.-benin exercise designed to improve interoperability and mutual understanding of each nation’s military tactics, techniques and procedures. humanitarian and civil affairs events run concurrent with the military training. the exercise is scheduled to conclude june 25.

posto una foto curiosissima, che ad essere pignoli sarebbe pure ot visto che non è nè operativa nè real action
guardate qui:



purtroppo mi sono perso la didascalia della foto e non la trovo più. in ogni casono sono 2 marines "veri" che giocano a soft air. probabilmente gli ufficiali hanno concesso un pò di svago alla loro unità organizzando una partitella (da quel che ricordo non parlava di addestramento). curiosa come foto perchè portano parecchie cose fuori ordinanza e mi ha fatto riflettere: noi ci spacchiamo in 4 per replicare loro, portando cose che certe volte sono davvero scomode da usare in gioco e loro appena possono, per giocare, usano quello che usiamo noi normalmente (cappellino, camicie portate alla "come viene", fucili bimbominkiosi con 3 mila accessori e così via)
