Ok davvero ho visto il fondo un intero gruppo che incomincia a scazzottare chiunque compresi ragazzini di 14 anni, fortuna che le persone in maglia nera saranno probabilmente bannati da qualsiasi parte...Okay, so we understand that thousands of people have seen this video now, and we definitely believe it is time for us to own this issue, and inform everyone of what happened here. We are in no way trying to hide, or brush this issue under the carpet.
Firstly, this sort of incident has NEVER happened at Jericho Airsoft. Yes, players exchange words on the fields, as they do in almost every airsoft game, and yes, we have extremely occasional confrontations, but never anything like this. We do not EVER condone violence in any way. All Jericho Airsoft staff and players were shaken by this incident, and will be reviewing everything and working in every way possible for us to prevent this from ever happening again.
As you can see from the video, the staff are there within seconds, alongside other staff members that were playing in the game that day. All paintball staff, and park management arrived shortly afterwards.
We immediately separated the players, and ensured no further violence occurred.
The Riverside County Sheriff were called, and with the assistance of this video footage, were able to clearly ascertain who was in the wrong. Players were escorted off park property in separate groups to ensure nothing else happened.
Jericho Airsoft has banned the people in the black shirts, and are working with the community of airsoft parks in Southern California to ensure they are also banned from all SoCal Airsoft parks. The airsoft community does not need people like this in our awesome hobby. I didn’t start Jericho Airsoft to bring people like this into airsoft, or to ever have such a thing happen, in fact it was for quite the opposite. I wanted safe and legal places to play, and that is what we will continue to fight for.
We have contacted the player with the camera, and the players from the team that were attacked, and are resolving this issue with them in every way possible. We are happy that this video helped in resolving the issue in the right way. Without this camera, the police, and Jericho Airsoft may not have been able to see what happened.
Jericho Airsoft can see clearly from the player putting the goggles back onto the kid on the ground, that this is not an act of violence. The players in multicam were simply trying to restrain the kid, and were not being violent at all. One of the players that was attacked, even helped provide first aid to the young guy that started the fight, afterwards, as he had a cut eye. This is the sort of honor and integrity airsoft has, and will continue to have at Jericho Airsoft.
We can see from this video, and from interviewing players and staff involved, as well as the camera guy, that this began as a confusion over rules. We are filming a new rules video this week. As soon as possible we will have flat screen TVs in the airsoft office capable of screening the new rules video. No players will be allowed to enter the net without viewing this video, no matter how long they’ve been playing at Jericho Airsoft.
Until this new rules video is completed, we will be briefing every single player before they play in groups from 8:00am, so that we know every player has been briefed. We will also start games earlier, as once you’ve been briefed, you can play.
We hope people will see that Jericho Airsoft did not cause this to happen, and that it will not discourage people from attending our games.
Thank you to all Jericho staff and players involved in stopping the fight, all people involved in helping us make the right decisions, and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department for having such a great response time.
