cazzo che bella analisi, bravo!
Ti faccio i miei complimenti, una panoramica interessante e soprattutto utile e tutt'altro che noiosa; va direttamente al sodo.

Hello Dear Italian Friends
This is my 1st post in this nice forum of yours and please "show mercy" for me writing in English, cause my Italian still is in a very "basico" level
I have to use google translate in order to read your threads.
I would like to thank and congratulate Charly Driver for this very nice review of the goretex parkas.
I currently own a UK one with the Stiff Hood with the metal insert, and a VERY NICE almost new
condition Italian one which I wear only in the streets (I don't want to "waste" its excellent condition)
The Italian Parka is size (Taglia) 50 and the Parka Trsousers are Taglia 48. Both are noisy but VERY NICE!!!
I have a question though that ONLY you guys can answer since it is "your" Parka
On the interior of the Italian Parka there are some plastic buttons that as I understand are
used to fasten an internal thermal lining. Do you know (or can you please point out) where
I could buy this interior thermal lining for the Italian Parka?
Thank you very much for your time and help
I will keep reading your posts (through Google Translate)![]()
All the Best and a HAPPY NEW YEAR (Buon anno!!!)
PS: I will post a picture of the tag so that you can see the manufacturer of the Italian Parka.
Bravo Charlie, ottima recensione.
Se e quando avrai tempo attendo due parole sul DPM ultimo modello, quello con le tasche esterne pettorali.

@Felix:
the buttons are surely for the thermal lining. At the time of my military service it was used into both the rainsuit (the green nylon one) and the TTAA (an alpine troops, sage green, cotton, no hood, parka-like jacket).
During the winter season we were used to (unofficially) worn it under the green SCBT (Italian BDU) too.
Unfortunately I cannot tell you where to find it and what price to expect. I think you will be lucky searching for something like "Completo impermeabile esercito italiano" maybe it has the thermal lining attached. If you need some pictures of it I have one, found in a surplus store near Bologna may years ago.
Good luck!

Found one. In my opinion too expensive.

Here another one, 35 eur.
Wotan thank you for the help! duly noted! I will look into it
The green nylon one you mean the italian jacket-trousers nylon rainproof overalls I think...
The one you are proposing looks like the interior of this one
https://www.fratelliditalia.org/giac...air-p-442.html
Correct?
Yes I was talking about the nylon rainproof (olive).
By the way the internal thermal lining in the picture, that's it. Good catch.
The external seems a bit reflecting, like nylon. If so I never saw this model before. The one I've used during my service was cotton made (very slightly waterproof).
Maybe this one is cotton too, I can't tell.
If you need I can ask for you.
Grazie per i complimenti Wotan.
As I told you in the PM, the liner is the same for various garments. Is inserted into the rain jacket, called "Cerata" or "Giacca da Campagna" (the 70s - 80s version was in OD, instead of the '90 - '00 that was woodland, but the liner is the same for both), and I think this is the one mentioned by Wotan. Then there is the "DROP" trench coat (the dress uniform of the Italian corps, DROP is not intended as a verb, it's an acronym), which is in the picture you posted.
Unfortunately, over the years the size of the liner has never been standard for each of these clothes..
Ma il giaccone della Drop e la cosiddetta TTAA sono la stessa cosa?
Sono simili, ma non uguali. Anche i materiali sono differenti.![]()
Perfetto grazie e scusa l'OT...
