3 Commando Brigade will be taking on the role of Task Force Helmand - supported by units from 7 Armoured Brigade - later this year.
Today (Thursday 27 January 2011) they held a demonstration exercise on Salisbury Plain to showcase some of their capabilities ahead of deployment.
