Ho letto lo scopo del Female Engagement Team. Ovviamente addestramento d'obbligo, ma teoricamente dovrebbero essere una mossa pacifica per riuscire nella comunicazione con il popolo Afghano.

Volevo fare una domanda sperando non abbiate già trattato l'argomento (in tal caso me ne scuco), per caso le donne nel USMC hanno ruoli anche in prima linea o sono impiegate in ruoli si supporto e logisticia come nell'US ARMY?..Grazie in anticipo.

ti dico la mia anche se le foto di UAL credo rispondano già in parte alla tua domanda:
generalmente hanno ruoli di logistica e supporto; in "prima linea" a parte il caso dei FET (vedi foto), che se non sbaglio sono anche il primo "esperimento" di questo tipo, non le ho mai viste. Per intenderci mai viste pattuglie miste uomini-donne, però ci sono foto di FET che rispondono al fuoco sotto ingaggio proprio come una qualsiasi pattuglia, anche se i loro compiti sono principalmente incentrati sulle pubbliche relazioni.
Questo è quello che ho dedotto io dalle foto trovate per il web; però non ho sotto mano direttive o simili che autorizzano l' accesso delle donne a tutti MOS tipici dei colleghi maschi, quindi non ho un idea precisa di quello che fanno/sono autorizzate a fare.
