Comunque ora abbiamo un'altra info importante, le cosidette MEU MBSS potrebbero essere force recon. E' la prima volta che comprare scritto in modo cristallino anche se la dicitura "Reconnaissance Platoon, Battalion Landing Team 3/8, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit" è un pò ambigua perchè dice che sono una sotto-unità del battalion landing team che non è altro che la fanteria MEU che tutti conosciamo. Probabilmente nella riorganizzazione che hanno fatto dopo la famosa nascita dei MARSOC hanno messo un'unità force recon in ogni BLT (mentre prima i FR erano più "indipendenti ed esterni" ai BLT). Bisognerebbe fare un pò di chiarezza anche per capire di più quando escono queste didascalie perchè molte volte il nome reale dell'unità è "nascosto" in quelle 4 righe :D
Io ve l'avevo detto :P che Conway aveva parlato di FR in occasione dell'episodio dei pirati. Comunque non ho visto neanche uno shotgun...proprio 0 anche su un abbordaggio?

Come vedete ricompare la dicitura "MEU maritime raid force" quindi seguendo la logica e le informazioni che abbiamo recuperato fin'ora, ci dovrebbero essere 2 tipi di unità VBSS: i force recon che si occupano della parte "speciale" dell'operazione (essendo le direct action il loro pane quotidiano) e la raid force che da supporto e si occupa del resto (e sono fanti MEU "normali").
La cosa che mi piace davvero tanto è l'accostamento SPC, coverall OD, LWH e cover marpat woodland, figherrimo :D

Beh da quando te ne sei "andato", è cambiato praticamente tutto. Dalla riorganizzazione delle unità agli equipaggiamenti, quindi posso capirti però un salutino ogni tanto puoi farlo tranquillamente senza farti troppi problemi! Abbiamo creato il topic mess hall apposta per chiaccherare del più e del meno tra amici fuori dagli schemi USMC ;)
PS: non so se hai seguito i topic in mess hall, ma se tutto va bene in primavera prossima il mio club e la 24th MEU organizzeranno un raduno usmc. Stiamo facendo il possibile per farlo e se ci riusciamo pretendo la tua presenza... a costo di venirti a prendere! :p :D

In effetti è un "anomalia" però se noti bene, quelli con la radio sborona con l'antenna a "tridente" sono tutti fucilieri normali, potrebbe anche darsi che quel tipo porta la PRC148 per parlare con i suoi compagni e non per comunicare con altre unità o con la base (supposizione)
