a grazie caparzo è quello che immaginavo ma non ne avevo certezza, quindi potrebbe essere un gps.
è dalla guerra in vietname che i soldati us (tutti) mettono le piastrine negli scarponi (di norma tutti e due, ma anche in uno solo).
il perchè è facilmente immaginabile: se ti salta via la testa è facile perdere le piastrine.
in seconda battuta era un ottimo metodo per ritrovare le gambe recise per esplosioni di vario tipo
io ho comprato gli anfibi in foto da un marines e indovinate cosa ho trovato in quello sinistro?

io ho il g&p ed è khaki effettivamente.... io credo che al momento la copia più simile al vero è il pantac in cb (uscito da pochissimo infatti è ancora difficile da trovare).
