The Soldiers of Apache Company, 3rd Battalion, 66th Infantry Regiment in Western Paktika, are quickly becoming familiar with mountain warfare. Patrolling at over 8,000 feet with nearly a hundred pounds of equipment strapped to your body takes a certain kind of individual. An individual with intestinal fortitude, discipline and the sheer will to walk the path of the warrior every single day. The following photos are small glimpse into the day-to-day life of patrolling what is quickly becoming known as, Apache Country. https://i602.photobucket.com/albums/...3/110a9c50.jpg
