Infatti stanno utilizzando lo scar h, il mk17, poichè il calibro 7.62x51 è molto più performante del 5.56x45. Questo ha maggiore potere d'arresto, o come piace dire agli Americani "less lethal". Marchino ha ragione, il 416 è stato fornito ai delta force, e al seal team 6 (DEVGRU), e da quello che ho letto, per il devgru è diventato issued.
se ha maggiore potere d'arresto significa che se gli spari una volta lo ammazzi... less lethal significa meno letale ed è riferito a tutti quei sistemi d'arma che puntano sul ferire il sospetto e inabilitarlo NON ucciderlo... infatti per less lethal si intendono, tra le altre cose, i tazer...
In effetti ho scritto un cavolata sul less lethal, visto che less vuol dire meno....dovevo scrivere first hit kill......Per quanto riguarda il mk17, il socom voleva sostituire anche l'm4, infatti ha richiesto un nuovo tipo di arma modulare e che potesse cambiare calibro a seconda delle necessità. Tra i calibri richiesti oltre il 5.56 e il 7.62, vi era la munizione russa 7.62x39, la più utilizzata dal nemico, e nuovi calibri come 6.8x43spc, e il 6.5x39 grendel. Il proggetto venne chiamato SOFCAR, cioè special operation force capable assault rifle, e il vincitore è stato lo scar, sia in versione l che h.

no, è che gli zaini del sistema spear erano fatti così bene che utilizzavano ancora il lowe sperimentale del 1984, o quella palla dell'alice large (col balcs legato fuori).
Beppe, quelle foto, della stessa serie ce ne sono anche un paio in cui si vedono distintamente i mav portati SOTTO i plate carriers. Meglio nasconderle prima di vederlo riproposto sulla stanza come "scelta dell'operatore" :)

Strano però che abbiano ancora i peq2, pensavo li avessero dismessi da un pezzo!
ci sta che il 15 cel'abbia sul cqbr, c'era anche una foto di una valigetta di un seal, con l'upper cqbr dotato di tutta la roba dl secondo kit, e l'upper da 14 pollici con la roba del primo...
Tra l'altro è un training, e come si può vedere dalle foto c'è una gran varietà di armi agghindate nei modi più diversi, poi anche l'equipaggiamento individuale è molto da "relax time", occhiali in testa...
Più che altro la cosa che mi stupisce è che nessuno degli operatori che entrano nella stanza da destra faccia il cambio spalla per fare lo slice senza offrire troppa sagoma.
Tra la prima e la seconda foto il tizio col berrettino marrone si vede che sta puntando il lato opposto a quello dove si trova, di fatti si scorge meglio nella seconda foto una porta aperta sul lato sinistro, l'altro invece sembra tenere d'occhio il corridoio in generale. Presumo che queste operazioni si svolgano in pochi secondi, non conoscendo (nella realtà) la collocazione degli oggetti e la dislocazione degli ambienti, uno entra con l'arma in posizione "naturale" (passatemi il termine)...poi tutto cambia con l'evolversi dei fatti..

Ero all'oscuro di una versione bhi con le fasce alice....All'inizio avevo pensato che i d-ring li avesse tolti lui.
Però ora che me lo fai notare, quello Eagle (specwargear) non ha i fastex sul retro (o è un'altra versione ancora?) e quello nella foto in questione ha i fastex stondati, che in genere sono tipici bhi (o lbt più recenti). Tuttavia, il tuo DOAV (che hai anche postato tu nella gallery "second line") pur essendo bhi ha i fastex squadrati, se non sbaglio.
EDIT: ho postato in contemporanea a octabrain...Esauriente come al solito ;)
la BHI comunque ha usato i fastex squadrati solo,per un brevissimo periodo (solo nei primissimi)
aveva già cominciato ad usare quelli stondati, già quando ancora produceva in usa usando cordura (uno dei 2 doav,quello nero ha i fastex stondati,pur avendo la stessa etichetta di quello woodland,idem altri prodotti che ho della BHI con la vecchia etichetta)

Si è un HPC senza Cummerbound con le tasche dell'MBSS Pink...è uno dei loschi figuri di Ft. Bragg....ho un altra foto dove si vede meglio il suo equipaggiamento..
