@Condor_34: the operator in picture is a member of 1st company, 4th Alpini Parachutist Regiment "Monte Cervino". The 1st cp is the spearhead of the Regiment. For that particular mission, they were together with 9th Regiment "Col Moschin" in Livorno, where they got that black bulletproof vest along with the rest of their equipment.
He is a ranger of the 1st Company Explorers, the cutting edge of the 4th Regiment of Alpini Paracadutisti. In that particular mission, they were departing together with 9th Regiment Col Moschin, and in that occasion they received the black vest in Livorno (from the 9th Regiment).
